upside down triangle kind of world

We have a problem on our hands and not enough of us are paying attention-- or, rather, doing anything about it. It's called a graying tsunami--an explosion of older adults above 65 that have more needs than resources may be able to provide...and like always, we are unprepared--always waiting for a problem to arise and then when finally all hell breaks lose and we lose total control over the situation--and the problems will go way over our head--so I ask, why are we waiting for the ripple effect of the older adult population to fall on our heads before we prepare for them?

We are living in an upside triangle world and the weight of those above 65 is going to fall on us--put our backs out, take away our energy and empty our pockets--and by the time we ourselves get to that point, who then will support us from falling?

It's the bottom tip of the upside down triangle that needs to be strong enough to hold up our grandmother and grandfathers and our parents! Without us they'll just topple over.
