out with the old (hairs), in with the new (hairs)

my hair is falling out and growing in places where it shouldn't--I get it, the growing process is a confusing experience--scary and weird; spending our whole lives thinking we are invincible--but as we grow older, we realize we are getting further away from our younger years, our youth, and moving closer toward older age and of course, the inevitable, death--we aren't getting any younger no matter how we look at it--and what is good about either of those spectrum's? it's like, either way we are screwed or something--lose lose type of situation? perhaps that's why we are all afraid--how can we possibly frame the continuum of our lives in a positive way? I say, it's enough of the pessimism...for starters, at least we know mathematically, 2 negatives make a positive. So as the old hairs disappear, and the new ones grow in, try to embrace them--and be thankful for them--let them represent/ symbolize our gratitude for being able to live long enough to get them.
