Like many, I fell in love with the infamous Golden Girls many years ago and I think some of us can say that we "grew" up with them...which begs the question, how did we grow up with women many years ahead? Relating to older women without being old? This is the stuff I love!
With all the buzz and unfortunate sad news about some of our favorite women on television, it is important to extract what this show has taught us--or me for that matter...
The Golden Girls is about more than just 4 older women--it is about 4 beautiful and supportive individuals, friendships, adventure and of course, according to the roll of the late Rue McClanahan, wonderful sex drive. Who says you can't date past your 50's and still look good?
But what I really get from the Golden Girls is that regardless of age, we can all still relate!
